Background: Asher was born into a loving family, his father had finally found love after a fail marriage and was happy with his humble life with his new wife. When Asher was only four years old he and his parents were involved in a ten car pile up on the interstate, he and his mother survived but she later died at the hospital. After he had recovered Asher went to live with his aunt, but the loss of her twin sister was too much for the fragile woman to bare. For years he struggled to care for himself and his aunt but eventually CPS became involved and at the age of eight Asher became a ward or the state. Asher bounced from one foster family to another, each harder and less loving than the last. When he was eighteen he was kicked out of the system and onto the streets. He was on his own with little food or money and just the clothes on his back. After five months of homelessness Asher's old case worker found him and enrolled him in a work program that would employ him for one year with a participating ranch, this is how he met Rose. At first he kept his head down and did his work but soon Rose, the ranch owner, caught his eye. Asher found it easy to be around her and for the first time he opened up about his past and what his life had been like. After the program was up Rose hired asher on as a live in exercise rider. After he came to live at the ranch Asher found out about Ritaris and with Rose's help flew out to forge a bond with one and be knighted. These days Asher is trying to work up the courage to tell Rose how he feels about her and doing some competing with Gill.
