Background: Rose grew up with her family near the Sunset Mountain Range and spent summers with her grandfather on the ranch. When Rose was young, about seven, she was diagnosed with cancer and hospitalized for several months. Eventually her family moved into the city so that she could be closer to her doctors, Rose's parents conceived another daughter after the move and it was her bone marrow that eventually cured Rose for good. Rose's bones were left very brittle from the treatments and at the age of nine her parents forbid her from riding horses ever again. Rose still spent summers with her grandfather, who ignored the fragility of his granddaughter and would allow her to ride whatever horse she pleased. When she was fourteen Rose was thrown from her grandfather's reining mare Liberty when she spooked and broke her arm, her parents were furious and stopped letting Rose visit her grandfather after that year. When she turned eighteen Rose moved to Kentucky and began working with a rehab barn that re-trained OTTBs for new careers, this is where she met Royal. Royal retired from the track after throwing several jockeys and nearly trampling one. Royal was so hot that no one could pull him down from an open gallop without being thrown. Rose somehow formed a bond with the then stallion and bought him from the program for $250. After he was gelded Royal was a much more manageable mount. Just a year later Rose's grandfather fell ill and died leaving the ranch and everything on it to her. Rose thought the ranch was empty but soon found an entire herd of feral horses living on her grandfather's ranch. She captured the herd and treated any ailments they had, she sold off some of the foals and yearlings to cover the expense of running the ranch. A few months after moving to the ranch Rose hired Emily and William to help her run the ranch, eventually she invited one of her instructors to stay at the ranch whenever she was in the U.S. When Rose turned 20 she enrolled the ranch in a work program for troubled teens and young adults, this is how she met Asher. Asher came to work at the ranch and fit in so well that after his year with the program was up Rose offered him a live in position at the ranch. Since then Rose has become a high levle rider and an amazing business woman, she has emmassed three large herds of horses both natural and fantasy.
